Six days and five nights in and around the Oxford Colleges, Blenheim Palace and Bletchley Park.

Begin this adventure beside the Paddington Bear Bench and Statue at London’s Paddington Station. Enjoy tours of historic Oxford University and the city; Bletchley Park, the top-secret site of the World War II Enigma Codebreakers; and Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill. Stay in the 15th Century splendour of the 5 Star Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, with door-to-door transport by Range Rover and wrap all this up with a fun Awards Ceremony.

Play croquet at two Oxford University Colleges, Blenheim Palace, Bletchley Park, & Le Manoir aux Quat’Saison. Revel in the magic of Evensong at Christ Church Cathedral, an evening of Shakespeare in the Park, a punting picnic on the River Cherwell, the sublime cuisine of world-renowned chef Raymond Blanc OBE, (holder of 2 Michelin stars for almost 40 years) and play on his croquet lawn!

About Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons: Nestled in the picturesque Oxfordshire countryside, Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons has been the touchstone of haute cuisine for over three decades, yet its prestige is not limited to the dining room. This 15th century former manor champions what their maître du manoir, Raymond Blanc OBE, would call l’art de vivre. “The good does not interest us,” he says, “only the sublime.”

His passion permeates this unique hotel, from the individually designed suites to the restaurant’s seven- course tasting menus. Just a year after he created this in 1984, it was awarded two Michelin stars. Today, it is Britain’s only country house hotel to have held this badge of honour for over 30 years.

Here you’ll find stately English heritage and stylish “French fancy”. The honey-hued Cotswold stone manor and its 16th century ponds are framed by Provençal lavender and sprawling vines. The maître du jardin will show you around and might even challenge you to a game of croquet. There is an abundance of colour in the summer, and cozy open fires throughout winter.

The restaurant is a crown jewel. The kitchens have trained 28 Michelin-starred chefs including Ollie Dabbous, Michael Caines and Marco Pierre White. Executive chef Gary Jones orchestrates a seasonal, modern French menu. Dishes are honed with a light touch and utmost respect for ingredients. All produce is local, much of it coming from their two-acre kitchen garden. It boasts over 90 varieties of vegetables, 70 herbs, a mushroom valley and heritage orchards. For the perfect accompaniment, the wine cellar stocks a stunning choice of carefully selected labels, many from small producers.

Bon appetit!
